Hi everyone,
I just saw this watch on an auction website. It
seems to be a fake Planet Ocean from the pictures.
I wanted to bring them to everyone's attention. I
hope this can help someone who is in the market to
buy a PO to stay clear of similar fakes.

PS: These pictures are linked directly from the
auction website and will dissapear when the auction
finishes. If possible, someone may wish to archive
these and keep them in the Omega Archives.
The "tells" from these pictures that this PO is a
fake are:
- the Omega symbol is thinner and taller than
on the real PO
- date window font is incorrect
- orange number font is incorrect
- case has incorrect polished and brushed
surfaces
- orange bezel color is different
- bezel notches are neither scalloped nor
squared
- fake bracelet has squared links vs the
rounded links of the real PO
- fake bracelet links have unpolished
ends
- fake crown is too short and sits flush with
the case
- the caseback is flat without the textured
design of the real PO
- no serial number or factory sealed red dot
is present on the back of the watch
You can compare the above fake pictures with the
following pictures of the real PO from the
Omega
