What all the fuss about? A sober post.....
[Mar 26, 2006 - 07:51
AM] I just reread
my
previous post,
as I was advised, and to tell you guys the truth,
I saw absolutely nothing
offensive about it. There was humour
One just has to look for
it! and wit
and thats about it
(except rgoldberg, thanks, I didn't realized Chuck looked so
good). Really some of you guys
need to get a life!! or rather you should get
a better watch. I'd recommend the latter
course first. For the ones that doubted
I actually have the watch, trust me, your only dreaming.
If someone can tell me
how to attach a picture to a post, I'll give you a picture
of the watch and receipt if needed. I disliked that
holdemchamp 1225 showed such sour grapes at me being the
first to claim ownership on this forum. I believe that holdem
pointed out, quite correctly, that he too was an owner,
from the previous day, and he was the first to post
pictures of a TZ'er owned Rattrapante. For all we know, Holdem' may
have walked out of the store with his Rattrapante before
you did. Not that any of the rest of us are concerned
about such trivial hairsplitting as you seem to
be. For what it's worth, I know
I wasn't the first (nor the last) to have purchased a
Split-Second's Speedy. I know I wasn't the first, because
I host the review of the first person whom I am aware of
purchasing one on my web site. I know other people have
bought them since. [shrugs shoulders]
So? Very unsporting indeed.
For some respondents, you
really deserve nothing less than Chuck reposting his pics of
his valjoux split second speedy, case back removed, if
possible. Especially considering
I've
only responded once to a post of s.m
previously, and that
was to congratulate him and offer assistance if needed to
get pictures here. There sure seems to be a lot
of anger in this Pseudonym... I'd make you all admire
that masterpiece for an eternity. I want to thank Keith.
You are an oasis of civilty in this wilderness.
, and TZOF is a something
south of a wildlife preserve, a jungle at
best... I think the extra
treament the movement number receives and its prominent
positioning on the movement did call for notice and comment.
I thank you for making
some allowances for the fact that I was beside myself after
purchasing this splendid time piece. As bruising as it may seem to your ego, People will
likely remember certain things from this affair. You claimed to have purchased a Rattrapante. Holdem' was the first to purchase a Rattrapante
and post pictures of his it. The (ahem) manner of your next and subsequent
posts... Do you know who Elisha Gray is? Elisha Gray founded Western Electric back in 1872. He
also demonstrated a liquid transmiter telephone a year
before Alexander Graham Bell had any success with his own
telephonic experiments. Mr. Gray filed a patent caveat
(intention to file for a patent) two hours after A.G.
Bell filed for his patent for what became known as the
Telephone. Which is why it's called "Bell Phone System" and Bell
is generally credited for the invention of the telephone.
Bell won because he filed first. Bell filed for a Patent
first, Holdem posted pictures first. I suspect that Holdem' will be remembered for his
posts, and the manner in which he posted them. And you
will be remembered for your posts and the manner in which
you have posted them. Just as I will be remembered for my posts and the
manner in which I have posted them. And so it goes...
Ah, perhaps that's a
reason for your previous posts...
As least your vision
of it.
As Gomer Pyle would
say Surprise! Surprise!
Surprise!.
Yeah, must have been
there between the title, the retraction of the title, the
misinformation about how exclusive your watch is because
Omega engraved the serial number on it's movement (Good
heavens!), the back patting about buying a new watch, the
put-down of everyone else who hasn't. The namecallling
(which no-one get's), bashing those who have other
models, and your assertion that your manifest claim is
better than documented fact.
Or something that
rhymes with it.
Perhaps if you read my
posts... You'd realize how good! =D
Nothing offensive at
all... [<-Sarcasm]
[koff!]
Nothing offensive at all... [<-Sarcasm]
Coming from such a
manifest authority... I mean, how can one lose.
If you say so. I
suspect many of us just aren't especially worked up about
who posted what first as you are.
Put the URL into the
field offered in every "new post" or "Reply" submission
form. It is really rather simple. Rookies do it all the
time around here.
Whatever... I suspect
many of us aren't worked up enough to care much. I mean,
congratulations, again, enjoy your watch and post
pictures if you want.
Somehow, I suspect you
most dislike holdem's posting pictures of his new
purchase which upstaged you. Especially considering how
easily bruise-able your ego seems to be...
But only when compared
to your sportive posts. [<-Sarcasm,
not my belief if anyone's wondering]
Wow, I'm mentioned
twice in the same message! I wonder (to quote ole Jake
Blues):
What'd I
do to piss you off, this time,
baby?
Boy, the jealousy is
just thick in the air today.
OK, everybody,
remember: if your name isn't Keith you are a uncivilized
barbarian prickbrb 6-8m
and all the rest of it
too it seems.
Ah, so now the real
you is showing through. We see.

I can get someone's bowels in an such an uproar, by doing
nothing, that they go off and spend $10k+
so they can go off on a rant, if it weren't such a sad
commentary on the quality and quantity of their
self-esteem. You'd think by now people
would realize that if I got upset everytime some
rank4,6(adj.)
newbie poseur wannabe got his/her bowels in an uproar
because his/her F. Piguet movement failed on him/her and
had a hissy fit at me, I wouldn't be the cheerful jolly
fellow I am... I want to thank Keith.

anything that is a better expression of this individual's
character better than his own words and
actions. See y'all in the funny
pages!
Wow, I'm mentioned
twice in the same message! As ole Jake Blues was known to
sing, I wonder:
"What'd I do to
p¡ss you off, this time,
baby?"
One has to wonder
about the sanity of people who make an exception for one
person and then calls every other participant here an
uncivilized barbarian pr¡ck, and then slams the
forum as being akin to a Jungle.
